This Epigram in the College Emblem aptly expresses the motto of the Institution. In this logo of the College - the two phrases are very important, i.e., ‘intense desire’ and ‘righteous knowledge’. One must have concentration and zeal to pursue education. For this one should have intense desire to such righteous knowledge. The teachers/educators facilitate their stakeholders, i.e., students to have this pre-requisite in them. The teachers don’t impose their desires on them; they only help the students to realize their aptitude, which would in the process of learning, develop in to learner’s mind-set.
A graduate of Vijaya College should be a responsible citizen with concern for other beings; competent to perform effectively; resourceful, confident and employable; with an open and scientific outlook; and with a willingness to contribute to oneself and to society.
Vijaya College will be a centre for learning and development, by not only organizing classroom interventions but also co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including mentoring, to offer job oriented courses, through hard work, associated by responsible members of the staff and management, with a pro-disadvantaged attitude, to meet the demands of the students of different caste and class.
